The colour issue:
How to design the colours of memory and emotion for exhibition spaces?
In a colour-based interactive exhibition, there was the need to provide the historical context, both international and Chilean, of how the contemporary knowledge of colour we have today was developed during time. Additionally, the information had to allow users to navigate and interact with it.
Role: Co-researcher, colour and visual consultant
Public funding project that investigates ways of designing and communicating the identity and memory of places through atmospheric spaces. The research proposes the definition of tools and parameters that support the design of interactive memory spaces, beyond the traditional concept of “memorial”. The interdisciplinary nature of the research includes the study and analysis of emotions, colour perception and the design of temporary spaces and services. Main researcher: Marta Elisa Cecchi.
